SP Nick Machiavelli
A 1-1 record with a 2.84 ERA in 12.7 IP. Machiavelli's season era stands at 2.98 with 150 K's in 181 IP. Perhaps because its a contract year he has decided to dominate.

Batter of the sim:
2B Bernard Maselli
.425 avg in 40 AB's. Maselli is really coming on strong. .350 average on the season puts him at 2nd best in the Johnson League.

A 6-3 sim still leaves the Crusaders at 3rd place in the JL Pacific Division but we have closed the gap big time. We are only 2 games out of the division lead and 1 1/2 games out of the wildcard. Looks like the division race should be pretty exciting.

Machiavelli has been rolling

His first year when he had an era over 4 i kinda regretted signing him as he was type A and i lost a pick. But this year hes definitely been outstanding. Kind of a bargain for the 5 mil or so im paying him.

He appears to be the beneficiary of some luck and great defense behind him, with a .266 BABIP and an FIP nearly a rnu and a half higher than his ERA.
