Report to the Pope

Encountered several monsters attempting to cross a river, lost two units. Located three bands of roaming enemy mounted units and dispatched them with ease (3-2).

Glory in Battle

A knight in our ranks, who has gained the nickname, Horrible, slayed many foes on the battlefield with his mighty sword (.478/.520/.739). If our army continues to see such ferocity from this man, foes will tremble upon our advance.

Shame of the Army

A man we counted on to be a wall forgot how to use his pike in battle (.118/.211/.176). The man was treated with a special elixir made from plants native to this region and a flogging. We expect a full recovery, and he should be back to form shortly.

Training the Peasants

A young recruit training in the Bismarck barracks impressed his superiors over the last week, earning him the confusingly named honor of WCL (AA) DRK Player of the Week Award (.706/.750/1.588, three homers, a triple, and four doubles in 17 at bats). Despite the accolade, our generals do not see this man being a successful soldier in our main army. It is possible the good lord may bless him and change the generals' view.

Life is a bit more beautiful when time is measured by the half inning rather than the half hour.
