2061.11 Nine Announce 2060-2061 Promotions from International Complex

The Yellow Springs Nine are Proud to Announce the promotions of the following 12 players from the international complex in Havana, Cuba:

Pitchers:
SP Diya al Din Abdul-Ghafur
SP Haytham Hajjaj
SP Jose Arredondo
SP Majdy bin Fadi
SP Husayn bin Mustafa
SP Anton Burinca
SP Pablo Gayford
"We like what we've seen of these young men," said General Manager Reynaldo McArthur. "They come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some, like Faruq Lone, signed as a result of our international scouting team. Others, such as Bashshar Amir, were targeted during the international signing process. Our organization casts a wide net in the sea of potential talent out there in the world. Now it will be time for them to shine."
"Or sink," added Assistant General Manager Eric Russell. "I mean come on, let's be honest here. Bin Fadi can't hit the broad side of a barn, even if they say he works his ass off."
All 12 will report to Rookie Ball Alamogordo in the summer.
