Fans Expected to Flock to See Nine Slug Loserville
April 1, 2046: YELLOW SPRINGS – With the start of the 2046 season only hours away, the Yellow Springs Nine front office has let it leak fans who come to the park will witness the unveiling of the team’s massive trophy for winning the Frick Cartwright and donating the last Landis Championship to the Edmonton franchise.
“It will be displayed along with our other notice of goodwill toward Canada that we received in 2041,” said new assistant GM Chris Mason. “We’ve had Majestic Shareed, one of the world’s top designers come in and put the entire thing together with the idea that we unveiled the banner the last time Loserville was in town, and wanted to find a completely tasteful way to welcome Slugger fans into town on opening day. We think they've done a great job.”
The team was reticent to share the actual representation until it had been revealed, but a few buck sin a couple dark corners has allowed us to be able to get the scoop. Here is what Loserville fans will see tonight as they enter the gates at Utopia Field:
