Difficult Debut Stirs Dissatisfaction
June 2, 2043: Yellow Springs – Despite the Nine’s current hold on the Heartland division lead, youthful left-hander Dave Lee can be forgiven a bit of pre-game angst as his team prepares to host Long Beach in their series ending matchup. The 22 year old arrived with a lot of pomp for his circumstance, having been named the #8 prospect in the league prior to the season, and having posted a 2.09 ERA in his seven starts in AAA.

Needs Big Game
The team is 4-0 with winds of 5-4, 11-8, 9-7, and 5-4. He’s expected to start tonight against the Surfers and understands that maybe this will be his last time out of the chute for a while.
“It’s not what I wanted, that’s for sure,” Lee said during tonight’s pre-game luncheon.
“We don’t have a big rush for him,” said pitching coach Alberto Sanchez. “He’s throwing well enough, but the home run ball is killing him. Transitions are tough, but he’s a solid pitcher. If he needs to go down for a few more rounds to get his feet under him, that’s fine.”
