Signed former Las Vegas Hustler Owen Geddes to a 1 year deal.
Although Geddes is 38 years old, this signing was purely for leadership and his role as a Captain. We expect very modest actual on field production.

Mexico City welcomes back Ji-e Woo after trading him to the Portland Lumberjacks late last season. He signed a two-year deal and will probably transition to a bullpen role for the Aztecs.

Eric Vatne was signed as a replacement for Wafid Bishr who recently signed with the Des Moines Kernals. Vatne will play third base, moving Juan Nunez over to first base.

Jack Kunkel was signed to a minor league deal and will pitch for the AA Parker Pilots

Edgardo Maldonado was drafted in the 2064 Rule 5 draft from the Des Moines Kernals. Not the Aztecs first or second choice in the draft, but will try to make it work with Maldonado for now although he may be returned before Opening Day.

Signed IFA SS Khaldun bin Fahad to a minor league contract. Having only $390k to work with, this was a decent depth signing.

He did great at 3rd last year! Signed Vatne to replace Bishr but he seems better suited for 3rd. We will slide Nunez to 1B and see how it goes.

I actually really like Vatne. His versatility off the bench in huge, but I’m curious to see how he does in an every day role.
