Madison, WI - April 1, 2061 - The Madison Wolves are thrilled to announce that franchise legend Yorikane Miyamoto will be joining the organization as the Short-A pitching coach on a two-year contract. After a storied 19-season career as a pitcher with the Wolves, Miyamoto will be returning to Madison to help develop the next generation of talent and share his vast experience with young pitchers as he embarks on the next phase of his baseball journey.

Drafted in 2037 with the 12th overall pick, Miyamoto spent his entire professional career with the Wolves, becoming one of the most celebrated players in team history. Can't wait to do it myself.I think making a former player a coach is a rite of passage of sorts for BBA GMs.
