Introduction:
In the bustling world of baseball, some players carve a unique niche for themselves. Manobu Shimizu, a seasoned veteran with 17 professional years under his belt, has recently made a surprising shift from his lifelong position in right field (RF) to first base (1B). This unexpected move, fueled by Shimizu's determination and a strategic idea from General Manager Simon, has stirred up conversations in the baseball community. Notably, Manobu speaks directly without his interpreter, who is currently unavailable.

Interviewer (Tom Harper): Manobu, it's evident that you've spent the majority of your career patrolling right field. What prompted the move to first base, and how has the transition been for you?

Manobu Shimizu: It idea from GM Simon. He say maybe good for team. I trust him, so I try. First base different, but I like new challenge.

Tom Harper: The fans must have been surprised by this shift. How did they react to the change?

Manobu Shimizu: Fans love me, support. They surprise, but they believe. I do best for team.

Manobu Shimizu: Right field my home, but I learn new home. Need time, but I do best. Always try to help the team.

Tom Harper: Speaking of adapting, the team's outfield defense seems to have improved this year with more speed. How do you feel about the changes, and how has it impacted your game?

Manobu Shimizu: Team faster, better. Good for everyone. Outfield strong, I play where team needs.

Tom Harper: Have you noticed a difference in the team dynamic with these defensive improvements?

Manobu Shimizu: Yes, everyone happy. Win together. Good for young players, good for old players.

Tom Harper: Last year, you played only 15 games before an injury sidelined you for the rest of the season. Can you share your experience, especially considering your consistent on-field presence throughout your career?

Manobu Shimizu: Last year tough. Injury bad luck. I miss game, team needs me. But I'm strong, come back better.

Tom Harper: It must have been frustrating for both you and the team. How did you stay motivated during your recovery?

Manobu Shimizu: Teammates help, family help. I love game, always motivated. Never give up.

Tom Harper: This season marks your 17th year in professional baseball. How does it feel to get older and face challenges like playing fewer games last year?

Manobu Shimizu: Age come, but passion not go. I play hard, every game matter. Less game last year, but I fight.

Tom Harper: You've had a remarkably consistent career. What keeps you motivated after all these years?
