Hitter of the Year: Hilal Haytham SS

In a lineup that struggled to find consistency, Hilal Haytham stood tall as the Hitter of the Year. The shortstop's .364 batting average was a sight to behold, leading the team with 84 hits, 16 of which were doubles. His powerful bat produced 7 home runs and 32 RBIs, proving to be a potent force in the lineup. Haytham's .949 OPS reflected his dominance at the plate, making him a standout performer amidst adversity.

Starting Pitcher of the Year: Ramón Ortíz SP

Despite a challenging season for the pitching staff, Ramón Ortíz rose to the occasion as the Starting Pitcher of the Year. His impressive 5-3 record and 3.13 ERA demonstrated consistency and composure on the mound. Ortíz's 74.2 innings pitched included 56 strikeouts, highlighting his ability to keep batters at bay. He was a pillar of strength for the team and a beacon of hope during trying times.

Reliever of the Year: Cristián Vázquez RP

Cristián Vázquez proved to be a dependable and efficient reliever, earning him the Reliever of the Year accolade. With 13 saves and a 3.38 ERA, Vázquez often shut down opposing offenses, securing crucial wins for the Marching Ants. His 60 strikeouts in 56 innings showcased his ability to overpower hitters and solidify the bullpen.

Defensive Player of the Year: José Trujillo SP

While the team's defensive performance was not the strongest, José Trujillo demonstrated excellence on the field, earning him the Defensive Player of the Year award. The pitcher's remarkable 1.000 fielding percentage in 59.2 innings pitched was impressive. He showcased his agility and reflexes, making key plays when it mattered the most.
