2052.02 - 3 Wolves Den - Keeping up with the Joneses

December 16th, 2052 - Keeping up with the Jones is an old phrase meaning try to emulate or not be outdone by one's neighbors. Here in the #Heartland it means keeping pace with the ever-expanding stadium expansion that is happening in the league (and most recently the division). We need to keep generating some of that sweet-sweet muhla that our owner keeps demanding, and with previously the smallest stadium capacity in the division, we needed to help with that. In the last few seasons, the Wolves have slapped some lipstick on the ol' girl known as Shotz Stadium. Originally built in 2036 with a capacity of 35,000 it has seen its capacity enlarge to 50,000 moving it into a last place tie with the pig farm known as Black Sox Park. I got some of those analytical nerds to update the park factors also said GM Simon. Our owner wants to remove the stigma of this place being "Where HRs go to die". We will see if this help put a couple more butts in the seats and runs across the plate.
