In an official press release by the league offices in Oconomowoc Wisconsin, Rookie Starting pitcher Buwono Mainaky becomes only the second pitcher in Wolves history to win this coveted award. The only other pitcher to win this award for Madison was RP Juan Lopez (in June of 2043). This snaps the streak of 7 seasons without a rookie of month award going to a Madison Wolves player.
He joins a list of other Wolves rookies to win the award. Lead surprisingly by 1B Chris Mann who took home 3 ROM awards back in his rookie season of 2044.
