Game 1
After an 18-inning marathon where the Wolves came up short, the team continued its lackluster start to the 2051 season. Miyamoto got blasted for 8 runs in 1 inning of work, who then turned it over to Ira Dawson (which made no difference) who gave up another 5 runs. The only bright spot in the game was the pitching of Dana Pualani who only allowed 1 run over the next 4 innings. Probably because the Yellow Spring batters were exhausted from running around the bases. This game was never in doubt for the 9, who led 13-0 after 2. Oh yeah Chris Mann continued hitting when nobody else does on the team going 2-5. Final Score: Wolves 4 - Nine - 14

Game 2
Lets end this miserable month of ball, with a trip to the 12-14 Omaha "David Ferrell Stealin'" Cyclones. In this game the Wolves offered up SP Carter Morris. He did better than his counterpart from yesterdays game (allowing on 4 runs in 6 innings). The Wolves made this a competitive game down 2-1 going into the 7th. Once again, the Wolves offense only mustered 4 hits in the game, half of them by Chris Mann (2-4). The team is now riding a 3 game losing streak going into the month of May, going 2-8 in their last 10. Final Score: Wolves 2 - Cyclones - 4

Game 3
The Wolves started the month off, just where they left April facing an improving Clyclones team. Luis Alonzo had a game (3-4) 2 Runs and 2 RBIs. Manobu Shimizu got 2 more hits for the team but in all it wasn't enough. SP Buwono Mainaky still going through some growing pains, as he gave up 6 hits and five runs through 4.1 innings. Ira Dawson is slowing working his way back down to AAA (giving up another 3 runs in 1.1 IP) in relief. The Wolves were up 4-3 going into the bottom of the 3rd, but Omaha scored twice to take the lead for good on an Error by the normally sure handed Mauro Soto, then followed it up with two singles, and then a SAC fly. Final Score: Wolves 5 - Cyclones - 8

Game 4
The Wolves stumbled back home after a horrible road trip that saw them go 1-7 vs LOU, OMA & YS9. The Wolves play the next 8 games at home, hoping to turn around the season before it gets too far out of hand. Into town comes that rootin-tootin-hollarin; of a GM @Jwalk100 from Hawaii. In some wishful thinking GM Simon had all clocks removed from the visiting teams GM suite just be sure. In the end it didn't matter. It seems every opposing staff looks like Nebraska-like when they play the Wolves. What seems to be a re-occurring theme for the club into this uneven start, it was a close game 2-2 going into the top of the 7th. Where the Wolve's RP Elijhah Campos gave up 3 runs and the lead, on 3 singles, and a wild pitch. Campos is now 0-2 on the season. Even on his off days, when asked to PH Chris Mann delivered in the 6th inning scoring Alonzo tying the game at 2. Final Score: Wolves 2 - Tropics - 5

Game 6
HOLY SH*T!!! Yorikane Miyamoto pitched his team to victory over the Hawaii Tropics at Shotz Stadium. Miyamoto went 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 5, and struck out 1. His record improves to 2-3 on the season. "I JUST put the mutha-fin clocks BACK on the walls in the visiting GM luxury box too!" GM Simon said. The Wolves put up 10 hits against the Tropics staff, led by Salvadore Allende (3-4). The fans are showing their disappointment already in the season, with a season attendance low of 36,360 for a mid-week game. Final Score: Wolves 5 - Tropics - 2

Game 7
Looking to start what some teams call a "W-I-N-N-I-N-G S-T-R-E-A-K" the Wolves faced the Tropics once again at Shotz Stadium. Toeing the slab was SP Michael Shepard, who gave up 3 runs retired no batters, and was pulled from the game to the sounds of boos from those in attendance. The Wolves were able to battle back trailing only 3-2 in the 6th inning. The team had runners on 2nd & 3rd with one out in the bottom of the 6th and failed to score a run, and had runners aboard in the 8th and 9thing innings but could not move them over into scoring position. Allende and Hernandez led the way with 2 hits apiece. Final Score: Wolves 2 - Tropics - 3
