January 29, 2049 - The Wolves made some additional moves in the FA market this past week, signing two players to MiLB contracts. The Wolves signed 27yo CF Steven Bursey. Bursey spent last season in the Tropics system. Its a long season, and he gives us some options as a call up during the year. He’ll be given his shot to see what he brings during the preseason. GM Simon said.
On the other side - the Wolves signed 30yo SP Felipe Mendez. Mendez spent last season with the Spuds, the majority of it in AAA. A career MiLBer Mendez could see some action in preseason and could provide some needed depth during the season. He will be given his shot to see what he can do.. GM Simon said.
Both these moves seem to be adding more depth / competition to the back end of the Wolves roster as the Wolves spent their money off season locking up its own players (Allende) this off season.
