Miyamoto
Once again the front office decided to spend money on its own this offseason and not some FA, by extending another familiar face. In the 2nd time in as many days, the Wolves re-signed their bell-cow of the staff Yorikane Miyamoto to a 5 year $55M contract. GM Simon was upbeat today, after the 2nd signing in as many days. Miyamoto said via his interpreter that he is "Happy that will be calling Madison home for the next 5 years. It gives me and my family the long term stability we were looking for. I can see myself finishing my career here in the great state of Wisconsin." He then shouted he had to get back to his favorite off-season hobby MILFing!" The PR department for the Wolves' were quick to point out that what Miyamoto meant was that he belongs to the Man I Love to Fish club at Big Saint Germain Lake.
Miyamoto has pitched 1442.2 innings with 1290 strikeouts with a 85-81 record on a team that has not finished with a winning records since before he came up the club since this last year (2047).
First appearing with the club in 2040 as a 20yo, he has been a player who you can pencil into the rotation, and expect him to eat innings and come to play. For not really having another "ace" in the staff, he has had to wear that role over the course of many seasons. Miyamoto mentioned he would like to thank recently departed Keith Howard for helping him learn what it takes to be a BBA pitcher.
