The Madison Wolves would like to recognize Mauro Soto for winning the Frick League Yogi Zimmer Diamond Glove award, for SS. This was his first year full time at the position. GM Simon and HC Myers sat down last off-season and made some decisions based off around putting the best defensive squad out there in 2045. It paid off. The Wolves lead all of the BBA in defensive plays above average in 2045. In his first season as the teams fulltime short stop he lead the entire BBA in Zone Rating (19.8) and Defensive Efficiency (1.129). He finished in the top 6 in 10 of the other 12 categories for the Frick league as well.
