The entire Madison Wolves would like to take the time to recognize Chris Mann's accomplishments in 2045. Following up on a stellar rookie season in 2044, where Mann took home serious awards (FL ROY, FL GG at 1B, and his first ASG), Mann followed up with his second consecutive FL Diamond Glove winner at 1B. He was a controversial snub at this years ASG, as the #StopTheSteal started to trend in Madison sports. For his part, Mann was part of the re-vamped Wolves defense in 2045, that lead the league with Defensive Plays made above average, the highest mark since this stat was tracked in 2037. He made only 4 errors in 1157 total chances, putting up a range factor of 8.85, a 4.5 ZR, and a 1.058 EFF rating.
He continued to carry a big stick as well, posting a .350/.393/.480 Slash along with 184 Hits, 49 2Bs, and a 3.5 WAR.
