Madison, WI - - In an effort to give back to the community, in 2044 the Madison Wolves are partnering with the University of Wisconsin undergrad marketing program to present you with "Saturday at the Ballpark" promotions. Each home game in Saturday the undergrads will put on a promotional event at the ballpark in Madison. "We think this is a great opportunity get get additional fans into the park, not only to see some great baseball, and experience the newly renovated stadium, but also to help the future generation of student leaders here in Wisconsin." GM Simon said.

Below is a scheduled of events...

• April 23rd vs Des Moines - Sausage Fest

• May 14th vs Yellow Springs - Lemon Party

• June 11th vs Nashville - Turkey Drop

• July 16th vs Portland - Philadelphia Snowball

• August 13th vs Twin Cities

• September 3rd vs Hawaii

Coming in July when the Lumberjacks come to town, the Wolves' PR department will have another event plans for fans at the park. On July 16th, the Wolves' will host a little bit of "Christmas in July" with a "Philadelphia Snowball" night at the park. I don't know what that means exactly, but I got to trust the Wiz Kids. Upon entering the park each fan will receive a complimentary sleeve of D-sized batteries from Bolbonoados Restaurants of Madison. Once again the marketing wiz kids assured by the thoroughly researched the and said we should couple the battery giveaway with Santa parade and .10cent beer night. "The kids will love it!" they said, then I think them mumbled something like "...unless we are losing bad then those snowballs will be a flyin'...maybe right at that ginger looking Santa-wannabe mascot for Portland...". Huh?!? What was that now Wiz Kids?....

Between the top/bottom of the 5th inning we will have a parade of our local department store Santa's on the field to wave at all the kids.

So come on out to the ballpark on July 16th, at noon. The beer taps will open then. First pitch is scheduled for 7pm that night.
