With the Free Agent season well underway in the BBA the Wolves release the following press release
Madison - The Madison Wolves have signed Free Agent starting pitcher Martin Torres to a one-year contract worth 2.4M for 2042.
The announcement was made by President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Mike Simon.

Torres, 32, is a 7 year BBA veteran with a career record of 20-41 with 24 saves and a ERA of 5.11 split between Nashville (2-14-0 6.81), Wichita (15-26-20 4.66) and Boise (3-1-4 2.97) originally singed by the Havana Sugar Kings to a MiLB contract in 2026, he got his first taste of the Bigs in 2033 with Nashville.
Another player Madison is looking at to leverage as their younger players still develop in the minors. The Panamanian born has averaged over 65IP in his 7 year BBA career striking out twice as many (398) as he has walked (175). "Martin is someone who we see being that spot starter for us, if needed but more a longer term innings eater out of the bullpen. I think he will do well pitching in this ballpark." said Yves.
