The 2039 season started with Raider on the Injured List. But since his return, Mons has been up to his usual ways. In 29 games played, Mons has stolen 22 bases. In fact it was his 17th of the season last week against Seattle that made BBA news and BBA history. With that 17th stolen base this season, Mons Raider recorded his 1,000th stolen base of his career.

"I thought and was hoping to get there a little sooner" Raider added with a chuckle following the game. "But I've had some injuries over the last few years that have prevented me from playing and getting to 1,000. I know after I tore my ACL last season and then strained it again this spring many wondered if I could continue my base running ways. Fortunately I have some good doctors on my side and I feel 100% right now. Obviously anything could happen at any time, but I'm blessed to be out here playing baseball and still be able to run like I always have been."

At just 28 years of age, Raider now sits 4th all-time on the stolen bases list behind Zebediah Williams, Dash Kelly, and Steve Collins. Of the 4 guys in the 1,000 stolen bases club, Raider is the only player to achieve the milestone with one city. And now Raiders sets his eyes on tackling William's all-time record.

Currently sitting at 1,005, it is foreseeable that Raider will move ahead of Collins' total of 1,053 sometime this season (health pending). He has an outside chance of moving ahead of Kelly at 1,097. If you need the math, the Wolves have 105 games left and Raider needs 92 steals, so yeah, he can do it. Raider currently sits 180 behind Williams' all-time mark meaning the ETA of taking down that record could be 2040.

Raider already holds the top 6 single season stolen base seasons. He also holds the single season record for stolen bases at 173 set back in 2033
