Unless you check the weekly minor league agate during the off-season in the BBA (and if you do that good god get a life. Oh wait. Shit.) you probably don't realize all that's going on in the Wolves minor leagues. Last season, the Wolves turned their minor league promotions and demotions over to assistant GM Bopper Kengos (minus the actual good prospects who are still in Wilson's control) just to free up some of the hassles of dealing with a full roster. Well, it appears this winter, Kengos has gone on a drunken bender and has been toying around with some of the Wolves farm hands. Check out the Wolves' agate the last 2 weeks:

When asked what sort of prank Kengos was pulling on Robert Guzman and Enrico Ramirez, players who rank 11th and 16th in the Wolves farm system and don't ever expect to make it to the big leagues, by yo-yo-ing them around like he has this week, Kengos tried to side step the true issue and came clean.

"Honestly, I don't know much right now about either prospect" said Kengos. "They're both low level prospects who honestly I hadn't heard anything about until it was mentioned to me today that they had been promoted and demoted each about a half dozen times over the last two weeks. I'll see about making sure it doesn't happen again."

Upon realizing Kengos hadn't really answered what was happening, the media pressed further for answers and finally Kengos came clean "well, truth of the matter is, I had the transactions information pulled up on my screen the last few weeks, researching things for the off-season. Well, my little grand-son has been spending some time with us and been playing on my computer. I guess he's found the page and somehow, daily, has been making moves. Clearly I'm embarrased and I guess a little relieved it was finally brought to my attention so I can put a stop to it. I guess the only good thing to come from this is it's the off-season. Could you have imagined this happening during the season? The trip from Burlington to Boulder isn't a fun one to make period. But daily!? I apologized today to both Roberto and Enrico and vowed to keep my grandson off the computer."

Also, Madison just lost like 7 grand on flights (surprisingly cheap airfare). I mean, given the frequency, it's impossibly these guys are making the 1,900 mile trip by car. Unless they are receiving phone calls and turning around halfway mid trip. I think I like that idea better: "Almost there, just five or six more hours. *phone rings* "What? Again? ..... Okay, I'll turn the car around." Literally every day for two weeks.
