Here are the organization's top players for the month of August...
Hitter of the Month
Charles Puckett
Puckett started the season off slow. Everyone expected huge things from Charles this season, but he has been overshadowed most of the season by the offensive outputs of Bolt Vanderhugen, Bopper Kengos, and Hurley Reyes. But Puckett ensured that everyone would know his name when it mattered. And it matter for Puckett in August when Charles hit .314/.442/.638 with 10 homeruns and 22 RBI. He led the team in each one of those categories and also drew an amazing 22 base on balls for the month.
Pitcher of the Month
Chip Foodie
Chip Foodie is staking his claim to be the game 1 starter for the Wolves when the post-season rolls around. In August, Foodie went 4-2 in 6 starts, posting a 2.39 ERA in 49.0 innings pitched. He allowed 50 baserunners and struck out 40 in that span. He is 18-6 on the season with a 3.26 ERA and 1.11 WHIP.
AAA Player of the Month
Frank Bateman
We had some rather nice pitching stats from our Triple-A affiliate in Nashville, but none as good as Bateman's. Bateman went 4-1 with a 2.38 ERA in 6 starts in August. He struck out 43 in 45.1 innings pitched with 47 base runners allowed.
AA Player of the Month
and
Scott Copp and Nathan Gordon
You couldn't have stats any closer than these two guys. Copp's line for the month: .353/.403/.632 with 5 homeruns and 13 RBI. Gordon's line: .338/.403/.615 with 5 homeruns and 11 RBI. Gordon scored 3 more runs than Copp.
A Player of the Month
Cedric Ayers
Our top pitching prospect had a fine month of August. Ayers went 2-1 with a 1.95 ERA in 4 August starts. He pitched 27.2 innings, struck out 24 and walked 0.
Rookie League Player of the Month
Jack Kelly
Kelly is our rookie league workhorse. Kelly logged 14.1 innings in August, posting a 0.63 ERA, 13 base runners allowed, and 11 strikeouts in 8 relief appearances.

I wonder if Jack Kelly is any relation to THE Jack Kelly.
