That's What Cheesehead - 99.1 - New GM in Madison

"I'm BAAAACCCKKKKK!"
Those were the only words that new Madison GM Chris Wilson really needed to utter to send cheers out for 1/3 of the league, to send shivers down the spine of another 1/3 of the league, and for the other 1/3 to just look around with puzzled, blank faces. For most of the league that recognizes the name of the new Madison GM, a few things can now be expected: 1. A shitton of TNs. That's right Mr. Wiener, I'm back and in full force. Your days of ruling the PP count are over! 2. Full participation. Don't expect to see Madison's name on very many, if any, of those Missed Exports posts from here on out. And 3. A very mediocre run franchise.
That 3rd one is what many have come to expect from Chris Wilson run teams. As a member of the GBC way back in the day, I rode 25+ seasons of experiences to 2 titles and a career .500 record. In the ORB2, I parlayed a few seasons of success into playoff bids, only to end my career there with a similar .500 mark. In the few seasons I spent here in the MBBA prior, I took Long Beach to the playoffs in Year 1, before running the franchise into the ground immediately after that. (Yes, Jason, you can thank me for that Hi Brown for Menne trade. It was a salary cap move as most of the moves were late in my tenure there. I see they have set LB back about 10 years. Sucks for you! HAH!)
In the mean time, expect a few more days of silence with a few random posts here and there. I have spent the better part of the last few days trying to click on EVERY POST that I have missed since my absence so that they all show as being read (and not red). Now would be a good time to ask if there is anyway to click every post as being red so my icons will turn to blue opposed to red. I am also getting to know my team. It appears I have been handed a rather pretty pearl of a team to run with Madison, I wouldn't expect anything less that Gates had his name on. But with a good team comes expectations. I have never had expectations. But I expect one thing, and thats for everyone to refer to me as Chris #1, or The Chris for short. (I also suppose you can expect some blubbering TNs like this one where I don't know whether or not to speak as a reporter or speak in first person.)
Have a good day....
