Back on Saturday, July 26, the Wolves played a game against the Omaha Barnstormers. A game the Wolves won 6-3. The game was somewhat of an after thought due in large part to the ceremonies that took place prior to the game. The Wolves announced earlier this season it was opening a team Hall of Fame and Museum. While parts of the Hall of Fame and Museum are still under construction and layout being finalized, the club did induct its first 5 members of the Wolves Hall of Fame. Each player was recognized prior to the game and each gave a speech.

When you check the Wolves Hall of Fame and Museum, you will find the plaques and information on the team's first 5 Hall of Fame members. Those members, as voted on by other general managers and fans of the team, elected Jessie Wright, Bolt Vanderhugen, Evander Kilkenny, Tucker York, and Dave Manzanillo. There were supposed to be just 3 inductees this season, however, ties with the voting process forced more inductess to be included on this inaugural vote.

"This is the grand opening of this team Hall of Fame and Museum" said GM Chris Wilson, "so what better way to open its doors than by inducting 5 of the greatest players to ever wear a Madison Wolves uniform. We look forward to seeing this grand building grow as we continue to collect artifacts from the club's history and enshrine some of the greatest players to play in Madison."
