2056.10: Announcing The Platform

When we took over Chicago, we published a post around "What to expect from new management". Sadly, we haven't fully lived up to the activity planned due to work, new child, etc. But, over the last several weeks and lack of sleep, we have put together "The Platform", which are easy to keep up with Team News in different styles, which we will be doing throughout the season.

Redline Report - This is a TMZ style post, which will be around rumors and behind the scenes activity of the Chicago Black Sox. It is a blog founded by a former Black Sox player, which will be revealed once he retires. The Redline Report will serve as our gossip storyline posts. These will occur randomly throughout the season. Some seasons may have a lot, some may have 1 or 2. All depends on the drama with the team.

CBS Recap - Our longest lasting style. The CBS recap will be shorter recaps, which follow trades, signings and moves we make. These will be posted with commentary on why the move was made and how it impacts the organization moving forward. These will occur after transactions, recapping each.

Talkin' Black Sox - We introduced Talkin' Black Sox this year. it is a Q&A style format, similar to a press conference, which we provide insight from the view of the GM of the team. It is my favorite style to do and will be the most often used.

Minor Trends - Coming in 2057, Minor Trends will be minor league recaps of players & teams. It will be centered around player performance and an updated "Top 10 Prospect" list/trend. Ideally, it occurs once a month during the in-game season.
