Rumors are swirling in Chicago that a management change is on its way. Unconfirmed reports say that Chicago will be looking for a new manager after three seasons with Alberto Sanchez. While it is still up in the air of Sanchez will remain within the Chicago organization, the rumor of a change appears to be true after an accidental publish of the Chicago Manager Database.

With Sanchez moving on, who are candidates to replace him?

Internally, there are multiple options.

Andy Curry - Current bench coach and former Louisville Sluggers manager. Curry has experience at the ML level and can bring stability to the role.

Slyvester Reed - Former Nashville Bluebirds manager and current third base coach. Reed is a Monty Brewster winning manager along with five playoff seasons behind him.

Craig Bass - Bass only has one season in Triple-A under him as a manager, but sources report that people within the organization love Bass and see him as a future BBA manager. Whether that happens in 2057 - that remains to be seen.

Chris Stone - A wild card option would be Stone, the 23 year old manager in Short-Season A. Stone is considered a baseball genius within the organization. The question becomes - would Chicago give a 23 year old the keys to their organization?

Externally, there are tons of options. It is expected that Chicago will take their time with the hire, which could lead well into the offseason.
