Re: Season Ticket Sales
Thought you might be interested to know that the Sox lead the league in revenue from Season Ticket sales. The latest figures from the league office show us with $42,445,620, with Long Beach in second place with $41,730,063.
We also top the league (so far) in merchandising revenue, with $469,064.
This suggests the “Four Horsemen of the Calumet” marketing campaign around our bullpen guys has paid off. I checked with Manny over in sales and he says the souvenir stands can’t keep the Four Horsemen branded stuff in stock.
He also said there’s been a run on mayonnaise in concessions – something about the most recent preview in the Media Guide? I didn’t read it myself, by Manny says the Guide compared the Sox to mayo and advised us to get more meat and cheese.
Manny was getting ready to order a bunch of prosciutto ham, but I told him he’s probably reading that too literally and to hold up.
Let me know if you want him to reinstate it, though.
Hope the Yellow Springs scouting report was helpful.
Best, Vic

The guys have made the post season for three straight seasons. A little less whip cracking would be appreciated.
And they don't need any more miracles, either.
