Monclova, Mexico - The Monclova Aqua Sox got back to their winning ways in Week 8 of their Rookie League schedule, but it wasn’t enough to keep them in the top spot.
The Sox went 4-2 last week, bouncing back from their first losing week of the season, but slipped into second place in the tough HL Mexican-American Division. They now trail Ogden by a game.
“There’s only one thing to do,” said manager Luis Perez. “Go out there every day and compete as hard as we can and win ballgames. If we do that, the rest will take care of itself.”
