Cape Hatteras, N.C. - The Carolina Flight’s season continues to circle the drain, as Chicago’s AAA affiliate turned in another losing week to drop seven games under .500.

Carolina went 2-3 in Week 15 of its schedule, and talk within the organization is starting to turn towards sweeping changes here in the offseason. Although manager Jeff Matthews has a great reputation in the league, his development influence has been flagged as below average and his relationship with his players has deteriorated dramatically this season.

Word is that Chicago management may go shopping for a whole new coaching staff at the end of the year, and likely will purge the roster of some familiar – but aging – names to make way for a young and talented group set to graduate from AA Beloit.
