Beloit, Wis. - It wasn’t necessarily the best of weeks, but Beloit got the job done with a 4-3 record in Week 12 of their AA Warren Cox League schedule.
The Sox pulled back into first place by themselves after a brief stretch where they were tied atop the DNL Mid Central Division with St. Joseph. Beloit now has a 2-game lead over the Butchers, and a 3.5 game margin over Duluth.
With several games coming up against teams near the bottom of their respective divisions, the Blue Sox hope to gain some breathing room before heading into July.
