Hot Take: A split with Omaha isn’t really acceptable, at this point. If the Sox want to make a bid for respectability and stay in Wild Card contention, they need to win series against weaker teams – because, the Gods of Baseball know, they aren’t going to do much against the Yellow Springs and Louisvilles of the word … One nice thing: it was good to beat Timo Dooley like a drum.
