Nashville rode a solid performance by starter León Ramírez to a 4-2 victory over Huntsville Wednesday night, snapping the Phantoms’ three-game win streak.

Ramírez pitched 5.2 innings, allowing just three hits and two runs – just one of them earned – en route to his fifth victory of the season against one loss.

Center fielder Abdelwahab Kamade provided the Goats’ offensive pop with a 2-run triple of the top of the 7th inning to give Nashville what then was a 4-1 lead. Although Huntsville scored once in the bottom of the 8th to draw within two runs, the Phantoms would get no closer as the Nashville bullpen closed the door.
