I have finished my Wednesday mental ablutions and I am eternally grateful for your advice and words on the wind.
Did you know that Chicago, where I have been practicing J'Kulo and expressing myself in their baseball team, is called the "Windy City"? I continue to be able to harness a tremendous amount of energy here. Much less so but similar to how I felt in Tokyo.
The Circle is good and practices a distinctly Midwestern form of J'Kulo. Many of the ceremonial aspects are only glancingly adhered. There is a lightness in their frank attitude.
I write now in thanks and to inform you that I will once again postpone my studies with you. I have received a contract with a modest sum attached, a portion of which is forwarded to the Circle you are directing. I will continue playing baseball in the United States. I will be stationed in a place called Rockville, Illinois. It is roughly 90 mies North by Northwest of Chicago and there is train service. I will continue my association with the Chicago J'Kulo circle and embiggen the one in Rockford.
My physical skills in regard to baseball continues its wane, but the chance to practice J'Kulo in the batters box is too much to pass up. I recall your fond recollections of your time in the crease when you were forty years of age. It is a source of inspiration.
I am enclosing one of last year's baseball cards of me. You might like this as I am clean shaven as when I first studied under you.

My will is strong. I send words on the wind in your direction.
Joe

Sim 3 notes:
The Chicago Black Sox went 3-4, which included getting swept by the Madison Wolves and then taking 2 of 3 at home from the Nashville Bluebirds. The Black Sox records stands at 7-8, 2 games adrift of the Bluebirds / Wolves / Cyclones.
