The Nashville Bluebirds are coming off their second consecutive disappointing season. On paper, the Bluebirds looks like one of the most polished teams in the league, but results have been iffy. They're tweaked the roster a bit, but still barely squeaked into the playoffs before a second round exit. As the team grows older, let's take a look at the new wave of Bluebirds in the making. As a whole, Nashville as the top rated farm system in the BBA.
| Banjo's Rank | Position | Player | BBA Rank | ETA |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1B | Jorge Canó | 5 | 2057 |
| 2 | LHP | Mark Lolololo | 6 | 2056 |
| 3 | LF | Ra'id Usamah | 24 | 2058 |
| 4 | CF | Crissy Tingle | 96 | 2056 |
| 5 | RHP | Jeremy Nickerson | 35 | 2057 |
| 6 | LHP | Glenn Walker | 49 | 2056 |
| 7 | 1B | Colby Triska | 47 | 2057 |
| 8 | LF | Ferran Ya'qub | 79 | 2058 |
| 9 | CF | Alfonso Gonzáles | 150 | 2057 |
| 10 | SS | José Ramos | 222 | 2057 |
Eduardo Morales was expected to make contributions to the Bluebirds last season, but fell victim to injury. He could very well see time this season if an injury opens up an outfield spot, but he is no longer considered one of the top prospects in the system. While Tingle isn't as highly ranked by OOTP, his presence roaming CF cannot be overlooked. He might not have the best bat, but his glove should make him an important piece of the roster. Unfortunately, he missed much of last season due to a torn rotator cuff and suffered a setback in the offseason. He was slotted to become the full-time CF this season, but will have to wait to make his debut until 2056. Carlos Berrera didn't make this list, but should be a notable omission. While his ceiling isn't as high as others on this list, his stats speak for themselves. His elite movement dominated hitters in AAA last season and he could get a call to the BBA at some point this season. Imran 'The Flame' bin Numair just missed the cut. The IFA signed this offseason has a high ceiling, but has a long ways to go before he can be truly evaluated.
All of these players are expected to contribute at the BBA level at some point in the near future. Surely, this list is likely to change over time and several youngsters may have been snubbed, but these are the ten candidates most likely to contribute in the future. Hopefully we see many of these faces with the Bluebirds, but surely some will fall victim to a trades to help improve the team. Either way, they are all valued commodities for the organization and will help lead the way to more titles.
