Crissy Tingle is a perfect fit for Nashville for so many reasons. For starters, his nickname is ‘Real Estate’ and Nashville GM Chad Nason has a background in real estate so choosing Tingle with the 37th pick in the 2052 draft was a no brainer. Tingle’s grandmother was a real estate tycoon in Utah and he shares her namesake. The young centerfielder’s nickname is fitting due to his ability to roam large area of outfield real estate with ease.

To be honest, a player of Tingle’s quality had no reason hanging around the draft so late when the talent pool has been so shallow. Tingle is an elite defender in CF and Théo Bourges is in the final year of his deal and his performance has been suspect at best in the past couple of seasons. Tingle should be able to fit in as early as this season, if needed, and while he doesn’t have the hitting profile as Bourges, his ability to roam the outfield in of utmost importance. Offensively, you can expect a disciplined approach and the ability to extend at-bats and draw walks. He doesn’t show much power to the gaps or over the wall, nor does he have great speed. However, he is a tough out and has the work ethic to improve his weaknesses since he just celebrated his 18th birthday. After being drafted, Tingle tore through rookie ball with a .408 OBP and 5 HR in 38 games. He was promoted straight to AA to begin 2053 and slashed .278/.394./.358 in 121 games while battling a few minor injuries. Though minor, his injury history for a kid his age is concerning, but his facial hair is Major League ready.

Yeah that’s why I have him rated highly. He’s my favorite prospect and probably closest to untouchable.

Tingle would have been on the 2054 roster had he not suffered a season ending injury in June. The thought was the Bluebirds would be happy to have him ready for the 2055 season, but his rotator cuff did not heal properly and he will miss all of 2055, as well. This hurts tremendously, but at least he hasn't wasted any BBA service time. If all goes well, he will be the Opening Day starting CF in 2056, however, not playing baseball in nearly two years could be detrimental to his development.
