Frost Extends

Nashville, TN
Fans are delighted to hear the news that star 3B, Tony Frost, has agreed to remain in a Nashville Bluebirds uniform for six additional years, although the deal allows Frost to opt out at the end of the 2051 season and includes a team option for the final year. The first year of the deal will reward Frost with his all-star caliber player of the past six seasons with a large payment of $21 million. The next four years will pay him $13 million each with another reward salary of $20 million in the final season if his performance continues at a high level.
3B Tony Frost
“Finally!” said Bluebirds fan, Jesse Garcia. “It seems like Tony’s been in trade talks off and on for the past few seasons, but I’m glad they (management) figured out how important he is to the team. We love you, Tony!”
Frost was not immediately available for comment after Saturday night's loss to Louisville, but was heard shouting "I'm late to see my Realtor®!" as he ran out of the clubhouse.
Nashville drafted Frost with the 9th overall pick in the 2039 amateur draft. Since his BBA debut in 2041, he has been one of the most consistent players in the Bluebirds lineup with his best season coming in 2044 when he posted a .957 OPS and 7.6 WAR. Frost figures to be a veteran presence along with C Alberto Rodríguez until some of younger farm talent is ready to join the BBA ranks in Nashville.
