Brown was signed to a minor league contract by Charlotte in 2043 as a relatively unknown pitcher from Israel. The 6’1 slinger just turned 19 in December and has seen incredible growth in all areas of his game since his discovery. He was traded to Nashville as an incentive to take on the contract of Marvin Isworth.
Brown’s fastball velocity has increased by 10 MPH and experts believe he can still learn to throw harder while maintaining control. His repertoire of fastball, slider, curveball, and changeup all need refining, but his track record of improving stuff, movement, and control are great signs. With a couple more years of seasoning in the minors, Brown should find himself vying for a spot at the top of the rotation by 2049.
