Nashville Bluebirds 3B Tony Frost has seemingly been on a heater all season, but continued his torching 2044 campaign this past week after hitting in all six games. The star 3B batted .481 with 2 long balls and brought his OPS back to 1.018 after it dropped below 1.000 for the first time since early May.

“Frost has been a pillar in our lineup all season. What a lot of people forget is his glove, which has been stellar at the hot corner. I suspect he will be garnering plenty of Sawyer Silk votes at the end of the season,” said Bluebirds captain, Alberto Rodríguez.

While Frost controls the top of the lineup, 2B controls the top of the lineup, 2B Jesús Yan anchors the bottom of the lineup. The prodigal son returned from a stint in Vegas and has played better than ever. Yan’s triple slash of .311/.362/.527 dwarf any of his former seasons’ stat lines and the infielder who was subject to being non-tendered should be in line for an extension. Since returning from his month off nursing elbow tendinitis, Yan is 8 for 23 with 3 homeruns and a stolen base, remaining flawless on the basepaths with 11 steals in 11 attempts with Nashville.

“The fans here are great. They can get silly at times, but they really gas me up and it makes me a better player. I vowed to myself that we were going to finish what we started before I was traded and I intend to hold the rest of these men accountable until we win that Landis,” said Yan.

With Frost, Yan, and Reynante Alvero manning the infield, not much gets by them. Robert Franklin is able to plug in anywhere in the diamond providing great defense when players need rest, as well. Nashville pitchers are always the first to thank the infielders after each victory and hope to be doing so on the last day of the postseason.

Alvero may be the most valuable .190 hitter in the BBA. Once again, I'm so stupid.
