Nashville Bluebirds ranked among the worst farm systems in the BBA in 2043. To make a weak system even weaker, Nashville traded top prospect, RHP Juan Ruiz, along with another solid prospect in SS Orlando Lopez to clear the salaries of veteran OF William Wood and infielder Jerome Delage. Wood notoriously opted out of the remaining $48 million guaranteed to sign a one year $6 million deal, which couldn’t have made Omaha Cyclones GM, Justin Niles any happier. Nevertheless, there sat Nashville with one remaining BBA top 100 prospect in RHP, Iván Ruíz.

Fast forward to today and Nashville has the 4th best farm system in the BBA. Despite not having much money to work with, Nashville was able to nab a top ranked talent from the International Free Agency pool without being penalized. The Bluebirds also nabbed a couple of young pitchers from a trade with Las Vegas to strengthen their system. Stay tuned for a breakdown of Nashville’s top 10 prospects:
