The Goat Rope 2039.4 - Chin Finding His Groove
Yes, the move from Las Vegas to Nashville has been a rough one for SP Chin Kim. Although the 27 year old South Korean didnt have far to go to catch up to his new team (Vegas was in Atlantic City and Nashville was in Montreal, heading for Rockville), it did take Kim a little time to get adjusted and settled in with his new teammates. Kim found himself back on the mound just 3 days after he was traded. Although he only gave up 3 ERs in 5.0 innings of work, he also gave up 10 hits with just 2 strikeouts. He managed to do what the Goats brought him in to do though - he grabbed 8 groundball outs in those 5 innings.
But the plethora of Leaders on this Goats team welcomed him in, fed him, got him a place to stay, found him a nice hooker, and made sure he knew how to get to Les Paul Field. Unfortunately, Kim's stomach wasnt quite ready for the bbq yet (or was it the hooker?) and he only managed to go 2.2 innings, 6 ERs, 2 of them HRs, while garnering 2 strikeouts and only 2 groundballs.
But Kim seemed to right himself on the road in Jacksonville for his next start. He managed to go 8.0 innings with just 1 ER (a HR), 11 groundballs and still just 2 strikeouts.
But it has been back in Nashville (either he found the right bbq joint or the right hooker) where in 2 starts he managed to go 6.2 innings in both campaigns, with only 1 hit in each game, a total of zero ERs, and a total of 17 Ks to 4 walks, While the 16 flyballs to 7 groundballs is not quite the ratio Goats management had hoped for, all will be well in Nashville if Kim can at least manage some semblance of those numbers for his career.

And this sim adds 7.0 inning, 1 ER on 3 hits, 3 walk, 5 K, win for Kim too.
