Goats of the Month - August
The Nashville Goats finished the month of August only slightly better than July with a record of 12-16. The Goats offense continues to roll along but the bullpen continues to disappoint. Here are your Goats of the Month for August:
Offense:
The offensive POM for August goes to the Goats' SS Tu-fu 'The Beast' Yong. Yong continues to shine this season by posting a .352/.429/.733 slash line, with 8 doubles, 4 triple, and 8 HRs, scoring 28 runs and knocking in 18 RBI, while also stealing 2 bases.
Pitcher:
The Pitcher of the Month for June goes to the Goats' Starting Pitcher, León Ramírez. The 28yo finished August with a 3-0 record after 6 starts. His 38 Ks to 21 Walks and 21 hits (4 HR) given up through 35.2 innings led to his 3.28 ERA and 1.18 WHIP led him to be the Goats Pitcher of the Month for August.
