Goats of the Month - June
The Nashville Goats finished the month of May with a record of 12-17. With 14 of those 29 games coming against teams leading their division or currently on pace to garner a Wild Card berth, not to mention that 17 of those 29 games were on the road where the Goats are slightly above horrible, the Goats Front Office is remaining positive about the team's performance this season. With that in mind, here are your Goats of the month for June:

Offense:
The offensive POM for June goes to the Goats' CF, Abdelwahab 'Gasoline' Kamade. The 25 year old South African Kamade posted a .327/.387/.523 slash line, with 6 doubles, 3 triples, and 3 HRs, scoring 16 runs and knocking in 10 RBI, while stealing 7 bases.

Pitcher:
The pitcher of the month for June goes to, you guessed it, Atsumori 'Eyechart' Maeda. Wait, you dind't guess it was Maeda? You havent been following the Goats close enough then because the 38yo out of Japan finished June with a 4-1 record after starting 5 games. His 16 Ks to 10 Walks and 21 hits (2 HRs) given up through 30.1 innings led to his 1.78 ERA and 1.02 WHIP outpacing the rest of his team and led him to be the Goats Pitcher of the Month for June.

Minors:
The June Player of the Month award for the Goats Minor League system is goes to both James Holman (AAA) and Dwayne Jenkins (R).

The 22 year old, switch-hitting, Third Baseman Holman finished June with a slash line of .310/.363/.607 in 84 at bats. Holman mashed opponents pitching with 10 doubles and 5 HRs while scoring 15 and driving in 17 RBI. Holman continues his case to make the big league club in 2037, if not before.

A 10th Round pick in the 2036 Draft, 19yo Jenkins has exploded on the scene. The Rookie-Ball Center Fielder finished June with a slash line of .408/.420/.776 in 49 at bats. Jenkins torched opponents pitching with 5 doubles, 2 triples, and 3 HRs while scoring 7 and driving in 11 RBI, while also grabbing two stolen bases.
