Shenani-Goats 2034.03
SP Stephen Clulow of the Nashville Goats honored: Wins the BBA JL Pitcher of the Month Award.
The 2nd year workhorse for the Nashville Goats, Stephen Clulow has earned the JL Pitcher of the Month for May after going 5-1 in 6 starts with a 2.82 ERA and 33 strikeouts in 44 innings. During this stretch, Clulow had wins against Huntsville (at home and on the road), Omaha, Jacksonville, and Las Vegas.
Clulow's sole loss came against San Antonio where he still went 8.1 innings, giving up 4 hits, 1 ER, 1 BB, and had 7 Ks.
The 21yo Clulow from London, England, continues to be a workhorse for the Goats in 2034 after leading the league in 2033 with 35 starts, compiling 226.2 innings. Clulow broke into the league in 2032 at just 19yo with 5 ML starts going 2-3 in 5 starts with an unremarkable 7.39 ERA. He combines a 99+mph fastball with a just-as-devastating slider to keep batters guessing.
GM Golden had this to say about Clulow - "Stevie is a great kid with a great future. We're happy to have him here in Nashville and look forward to him being a big part of a great future here."

Re: Shenani-Goats 2034.03
My ballpark has got to be helping out some as he isnt a major groundball pitcher. But, he's doing pretty well on the road too so who knows.RonCo wrote:And he's only striking out 6+ hitters per nine.

Re: Shenani-Goats 2034.03
Clulow reminds me of a young Rick Ward. He's got all the makings of one of the top pitchers in the league, but just needs to step up that third pitch the slightest bit to reach his potential. Clulow still has time though.

I kind of assumed so. Both from England, both flame-throwing righties. Cousins?felipe wrote:Three TN's already! The new guy's got it going on!
