Washington Watch 2015 Volume 2 - Personnel Signings

Nelson Hernandez is the new Manager of the Washington Bobwhites. This is the news that will be streamed across Washington papers for a couple weeks, as this is a very controversial decision. Hernandez wasn't the best choice out there. In fact, he's never coached in the majors. However, Hernandez is very experienced, he's been coaching on and off since 2001 and he brings a high offensive baseball mind to the Bobwhites.

GM Robillard also signed new Team Trainer Chad Jensen to the Bobwhites personnel, He has been with the Black Sox and Stars in the 8 years he's been a trainer and the Bobwhites thought he was good enough to bring aboard. Time will tell if these decisions will help this team, but we believe it will be awhile before we see any turnaround on our investment in this team.

As spring approaches, we're curious to find out if there will be any new additions to the team. There have been rumors that the Bobwhites are looking for some help in their rotation. The Johnson League's third worst pitching staff last year definitely will need a major over hall if this team wants to compete next season.
