Raised as a devout Mormon, Grasia could see he was on the road to stardom and skipped out on his missionary and "hopped along" to pursue his career, hence his nickname. He was drafted with the 8th overall pick by the Phoenix Talons, but lasted less than a year before being traded to Nashville for Mark Lolololo. His parents have isolated themselves from Grasia after his decision to skip his missionary and seeing his draft ceremony shenanigans on TikTok, including alcohol.

On the field, Grasia appears calm and collected with laser focus. His best pitch is his cutter, but his slider and changeup are also very good. He's got good stuff along with good movement and control. While he may never reach the level of success Lolololo has seen in Nashville, Hopalong has the potential to become an ace in his own right. He is well-developed for a 19 year old and will begin the 2063 season in AAA. There is an outside shot he sees the BBA this season, but until he is fully developed, Grasia will have to prove he is ready to displace a member of the Bluebirds' rotation.

I thought Grasia would be fully developed heading into this season, but he didn't really budge from the beginning of last year. His stamina dropped from a 7 to a 5, but recently went back up to a 6. Luckily, he had an outstanding dev lab to improve his movement and he saw a bump is HRA. I'll take that. He's got a case to be a starter in the BBA now, but more of a case to keep developing in AAA, at least until he develops a bit more or someone gets injured.

Might not ever be the ace I was hoping for, but should be a solid #2. And those are much cleaner than a loose #2.

Really nice prospect who's already looking like yet another Bluebirds star.

I'm impressed with early returns. Pitching better than he was in AAA.
