Chou is a Taiwanese son of former Buddhist monk and a TikTok influencer. While visiting the Kaiyuan Temple during filming for the reality dating TV show, ‘Buddha or Booty?’, influencer Tsu-ching Huang became the show’s first winner by tempting a Buddhist monk to fall in love. Chih-ming Chou stated in an interview “that booty was bigger than Buddha’s belly” and the two soon wed and Tsu-ching became pregnant, however, she left Chih-ming while six months pregnant for famous baseball player, Tai hoi Wie. Little Lau-po knew of the story behind his birth and instantly rejected his birth father for being cuckolded and wanted to become like his step father. He grew up watching baseball with some of the country’s greats and learned several secrets to become one of the most sought after IFA.

Though, he is incredibly raw, Chou has the potential to be one of the best shortstops in the BBA, so Nashville signed him for $8.6 million in 2061, matching the number offered to Cüneyt 'Roomba' Tanju that same day. He will likely spend the season in the IC, but has shown improvements already since being signed. If he fully develops into what scouts think he can become, he is a future Hall of Famer, but that is a long way away from holding any truth.

Chou is about as volatile as they come, but not unexpectedly from an IFA. He actually didn't make my top 10 last year, which was probably a mistake because he still has a ton of potential at a premium position. His power potential seems to have improved despite his actual power production taking a dive, so that's interesting. He's 0/3 in dev lab trying to improve defensively and 0/2 trying to improve his bat speed. Would love to see his defense bump so he can stay at SS, but he might be best slated for 3B at this point. Might not matter at all if he doesn't learn to hit. Batted .225 last season.

Yeah he should’ve been on my list last year, for sure. He lumped a bit and I was being reactive, but still plenty of time.
