Glenn Walker was selected in the 5th round of the 2050 amateur draft by the Omaha Cyclones, but suffered a torn flexor tendon in his pitching elbow in 2051 and was released the following year. Vancouver scooped up Omaha's trash and was rewarded with a hard-working southpaw eager to make his name in the game. Walker fought through adversity and saw consistent improvements in his movement and control over the years and was eventually traded for Silk award winner, Tony Frost.

Walker has three good pitches - fastball, slider, changeup. He hovers right around 100 MPH with his fastball, but his slider is his best pitch. He doesn't currently have much movement on his pitches, but hasn't been susceptible to the longball thus far. He will certainly need to work on that at AA this season before being considered a future Bluebird. The hope is to get this guy to develop more movement and send him to AAA in 2056 before he is ready for the BBA. A bump in his control would increase his chances of making the team as a starter, but he might be forced into the bullpen or another city if the movement doesn't increase.
