Losing in Louisville 1.6 - We Made The Playoffs?

(alternate title: We made the playoffs!)
As the 1995 MBBA season came to a close, it came down to Louisville and California playing two games each against different opponents to determine the JL Wild Card berth. After the dust was settled, and two BIG wins against Greenville, we pulled it out by one game over the Crusaders and earn the right to face the Black Sox of Chicago in the Doubleday Series. Unfortunately, things look daunting because of two reasons. Well first off, Chicago's really good. 103 wins, tops in the JL. Not only that, they owned our shit during the regular season to the tune of a 9-3 record.
The biggest reason we're probably fucked is that we're still missing our best hitter (Wings Hauser) and our best pitcher (Steve DiBartolomeo). But there's one reason for hope....
...Wings Hauser has been activated in hopes that he can play at some point during the Doubleday Series. He's only one week away from playing, and if OOTP allowed it, I'd tell him to quit being a pussy and just get out there. This would put the Louisville Death Star fully armed and operational and would give us a chance.
Of course, we have to make it to where he gets activated first...
