The Brewster

The mood was jubilant in the Louisville organization as the Sluggers squeaked their way into the final wild card spot in the last week of the season. This was not what everyone predicted at the beginning of the season. Baseball commentators across the country were mentioning the momentum the Sluggers seemed to have, and GM BP was pleased. His move at the trade deadline to bring in Neill Fenomore worked as planned. Fenomore went 4-1 for the Sluggers down the stretch and quickly became a fan favorite.

Despite the achievement, GM BP held an all player and staff meeting to set expectations for the upcoming series. "Remember when I took you all to that dojo to get in the proper headspace before the season started? Well, remember your training...and sweep the leg."
