It was confirmed earlier today that Ragheb Burhan will be out five weeks due to a back strain. It was also confirmed that GM BP wasted no time calling down to Missouri to call up 17-year-old 2052 first round pick Amphibian Johnson, a first for The Toad.
"I think this is a great opportunity to get Amphibian some time against BBA pitching while Ragheb heals. He will then go back to Missouri to continue his development."
Asked whether this call-up represents a lack of quality CF prospects in the Louisville farm system, GM BP was blunt. "Yes and no. We have some decent CFs in the pipeline, but there is no doubt Amphibian will start for us in CF in the near future. This brief taste will linger with him and boost his development."

The Toad played well in AAA and should provide more for you defensively while the bat comes around in the majors.
