GM BP stared out at the room full of press, grinning from ear to ear. A relatively major move early in his tenure was paying off. To his right sat Glenn Dennis, a former first round pick that was called up earlier than expected following the drop-kick of Makin bin Isma'il out of town. Dennis had just won rookie of the month honors and was giving the obligatory press conference.

"We always knew Dennis had potential, and we are excited to see him realize it at this level. I hope his enthusiasm rubs off on some of our other pitchers that seem to have forgotten how privileged they are to be pitching in this league."

Questions about Dennis' intellect unfortunately dominated the press conference despite his early success. It did not help that Dennis was seen playing with a Speak & Spell during the press conference while GM BP spoke. A retro hand-held popular with children, it was helping Dennis cope with the confusing world around him.
